a)    Definitions

1.    We use “cookies” on our websites. Cookies are small text files that our websites transfer to your computer or your mobile device and are stored there when you visit our websites. Your actions (such as the websites you visit, the articles and topics you view, how long you spend on the website, the number of pages called up per day, etc.) and your preferred configurations (such as login, language and other display settings) are stored during your browsing session for your next visit to our websites. If you visit our websites again, this information is sent back to the server. Your computer or mobile device is automatically recognized and loads items such as real estate offers that you saved as favorites during your last visit to our websites. This gives you the advantage of not having to call up your preferred settings every time you visit our website. We use cookies for statistical analysis of user data on our websites. 3.    “Persistent cookies” are stored on your computer or mobile device beyond the individual visit to our websites or a browser session. They enable us to recognize you the next time you visit our websites and make it easier for you to use them (for instance, they show you real estate offers that you saved as favorites last time you visited).

4.    Some cookies were placed by us and are under our control. Other cookies are placed on our websites by third parties (third-party cookies). In some circumstances, we do not know third parties that place cookies via our websites.
