Corporate Citizenship Objectives
Driven by our mission “We offer people a home!” we focus our social efforts on the neighborhoods where our portfolio properties are located. In these efforts, we consider the results of our materiality analysis, which concluded that integration, diversity, and social cohesion are important topics for our company.
Thus, we focus on improving the immediate quality of living and the quality of the residential environment in our neighborhoods for the people who live there. This includes enhancing the ecological aspects of urban districts and neighborhoods. Collective factors such as rising income levels, higher educational attainment, increased employment rates, greater social engagement, enjoyment of cultural offerings at the neighborhood level, and even the long-term increase in real estate value serve as relevant metrics.
The overarching aim of these efforts is to promote social cohesion and diversity thereby helping to stabilize the pluralistic democratic society in which we live. This is vitally important to us.
By demonstrating our commitment or supporting our employees in their own efforts, we aim to deepen their loyalty to the company and be a reliable social partner in urban society, thereby contributing to the company’s positive public image.

Management Approach
People of different ages, cultures and social backgrounds reside in our neighborhoods. We take pride in the fact that tenants from around 150 different countries find their home with us each year.
Creating livable neighborhoods is crucial for fostering social cohesion. We are dedicated to supporting society and collaborate with social institutions, cities, municipal authorities, and other residential real estate companies to promote a sense of community in our neighborhoods. We act as a reliable point of contact and partner, maintaining a permanent local presence to engage with stakeholders in urban society.
Our decentralized support management system facilitates both regional and local projects aimed at promoting community spirit and benefiting target groups within neighborhoods. Centralized quality checks are conducted to ensure the effectiveness of these initiatives. Strategic partnerships with civil organizations complement our corporate commitment, enabling us to achieve sustainable positive outcomes for tenants and urban society. We refrain from making donations to political parties, individual politicians, or associations.
Therefore, we have published binding group guidelines to ensure consistent corporate representation and effective coordination of our social responsibility initiatives. These guidelines also enhance compliance and operational efficiency, while clearly defining responsibilities and competencies within the organization.
